DM Generation, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), operator of FreshPick AI, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Service.
The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We don't sell your data. Your photos are processed by AI and not stored on our servers. You can delete your account at any time.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and hashed password. We also record how you found us (referral source) to improve our marketing.
Usage data: We track the number of scans you have performed and your subscription status.
Photos: Photos you upload are sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) and Google (Gemini AI) for analysis. Photos are processed in real time and are NOT stored on our servers or databases. They are subject to Anthropic's and Google's privacy policies.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
Device data: We store a scan count in your browser's local storage to track free tier usage.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it longer.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete your personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell it). If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (given when creating an account) and our legitimate interest in operating the Service. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
FreshPick AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), and secure environment variable storage for API keys. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
